Overview
Secureel is designed as a local encrypted video vault. The app does not use third-party advertising SDKs, third-party analytics SDKs, or tracking technologies.
Data we collect
Secureel does not collect personal data from the app for developer analytics, advertising, tracking, or profiling.
Videos, encrypted files, and backups
Your videos, encrypted `.sreel` files, covers, notes, and encrypted backups are stored locally on your device or in locations you choose through iOS. We do not receive or host your videos or backup files unless you deliberately send them to us, which you should not do for support requests.
Passwords and biometric unlock
Vault passwords, separate video passwords, sharing passwords, and backup passwords are used to unlock encrypted content. Biometric unlock uses iOS Keychain and Local Authentication on your device. We do not know your passwords and cannot recover them if lost.
iOS permissions
Secureel may request access to the camera, microphone, photo library, Face ID or Touch ID, and document picker features when you use related functions such as recording, importing, unlocking, sharing, or restoring files.
